About Me
Hi, my name is Emma Guthrie. I am an Industrial Design student at Auburn University who's originally from Villa Rica, Georgia. I am set to graduate in May 2027 and while at Auburn, I have gained experience in user experience research, design process, product design, and model making. I have always been interested in creating for others, my creative journey began with a love for fine arts, which has evolved into a deep passion for designing.
I’m particularly drawn to the process of understanding users and the research that informs effective, human-centered design. As my educational career has progress, I have also become interested about sustainable design and expanding my knowledge on how to design for a cleaner world. Now that I am in my junior year, I am excited expand my skills even more and start designing products outside of the classroom.
